What a comeback for our youngest world bodyboard champion!
“It is always an honor to compete with Isabela, she is a great athlete and I have been lucky today to be able to win the championship in a very tough heat. I have great affection for Antofagasta. I have always achieved good results here and the people always treat me very well. I hope to return next year.”
Alexandra Rinder rocks the Antofagasta Bodyboard Festival winning the final against an excellent Isabela Sousa putting herself in 5th place of the IPB world champion woman ranking with 915 points and showing how Tenerife is one of the best places for the training of professional bodysurfers & surfers. Meanwhile, in the junior men’s category, Portuguese Joel Rodrigues won the ABF crown after beating one of the public’s favorites, Guilherme Montenegro.

This year also celebrated the 10th anniversary of the festival, which is considered to be the most important sporting event in the region.
