The hike takes less than 2 hours and is available year-round. View lava from the 1909 eruption, interesting plant life, and volcanic ash. Along the trail, there will be changing desert landscapes and the Chinyero volcano at the end of your walk.

 

Barranco del Infierno

If you’re looking for awe-inspiring hikes, we recommend the trek to the Barranco del Infierno in Tenerife. The ravine terrain offers beautiful views from 1,300 meters high. This is a popular hiking trail in Tenerife. You’ll encounter other hikers and dogs aren’t allowed on the 6.2 Km out and back trail near Adeje. Sendero de los Roques de García

The Sendero de los Roques de Garcia, a 3.5 kilometer loop trail near Vilaflor, Tenerife, Spain is rated as moderate and features wildflowers. El Roque Cinchedo is one of the most popular hiking spots in Tenerife. This volcanic formation consists of many layers and it’s a part of Teide National Park, which features fantastic hiking trails. Punta del Hidalgo a Chinamada

The trail offers stunning views with beautiful wildflowers, has been rated as moderate, and is accessible year-round. Explore the rugged terrain and enjoy the views on this monument hike from Punta del Hidalgo to Chinamada. The trail offers visitors a taste of the local culture, which has been preserved in historic homes and cave houses.

 

Callejón de Teno – Cumbre de Baracán

Set on an average of 3 hours and 46 minutes, this trail is close to walking paths and it is rare to encounter many people while exploring.
